LP students to return to Valley View

One of the project sites for our work in Jinja will be Valley View Primary School on the outskirts of the town. The Leighton Park group that visited Uganda in 2010 was based at Valley View for the duration of its community work decorating classrooms, building desks, painting murals, coaching sports and teaching lessons. They also initiated the building of a new kitchen for the school community which wasn't completed until after the group returned home. The new kitchen was named 'Oakview' after its LP counterpart and the 2012 group are looking forward to seeing Oakview in action next week!
